A MOVE TO THE DARK SIDE FOR 2024
Chocoholic Design!
Livingetc.com has predicted that one of the design trends for 2024 will be the use of chocolate and darker hues in home décor. Rich paint colours, including warm neutrals, will be prominently featured in this trend. The aim is to create a cosy and inviting space that exudes warmth and comfort. These deep and luxurious shades will be incorporated into different elements of the home and the use of these decadent colours will add depth and character to any room, creating a sophisticated and timeless look. So, get ready to embrace the rich and sumptuous tones of chocolate and darker hues in your living space, as it will be a key trend in the upcoming year.
These chocolate inspired hues work perfectly for colour-drenching rooms and are a welcome alternative to the white, grey and stone colours of recent years. Pair these rich, dark tones with warm neutrals or add bright accents in marigolds and oranges to make the colours come to life.
